Kiss

Personal note: This was at first point a big dissapointment, we drove all the way from Sault St. Marie (appr. 10 hours), the complete field was filled with empty portable chairs!! You didn't have to try to stand in front of them, so if you didn't place your chair by midday on the field you could have a view from the entrance gates at the stage. When this kind of situation happens in Europe, they tear the place apart, after all it is a rock show not a movie theatre!!!
To make something positive out of the negative vibe I took the chance for the "Photo line", a sort of walking corridor where you could be right in front of the stage to take a few photos and then leave again ...
I missed the first 7 songs of the show because of that line but it was worth it, I could take my pro camera inside, so I took all the photos I could in the short period you passed the stage.
Just on a personal note I think they shouldn't allow people in with those portable beach chairs, it's not fair to other festival goers to place a chair at noon and arrive at 22.30 just when the headliners start their set!!!
I don't have a problem when you sit on the chair the complete day but this certainly wasn't the case!!!
Anyway I got some great shots of the show, thanks to that photo line, but too bad I had to miss out on 1/3 of the Kiss show!!!
